Hello and welcome to the Annual Universal Open Summer Camp info page! Our camp consists of four days of instruction, and VIP entry to both the Universal Open and Scholastic for the next 3 days, making it a full week. Every day of instruction comes with lunch, activities, break times, and a few exciting surprises. Our coaches are all masters, 2 being Grandmasters. Kids will get to learn in the hotel that the Universal Open is being held in, truly a once in a lifetime experience. This camp is closed to the first 20 kids signed up, and we will separate groups by seven in closest rating ranges. Our group of coaches is one of the strongest, if not the strongest group of chess players teaching a summer camp in the United States. All kids will receive exceptional educations, and get to strongly improve their chess while making many new friends! After the instruction days the kids will all get to play in the 25K Universal Open. We are excited to begin this exciting camp and get to help build your kids chess careers!
